  How the Foundation works:

The Board accepts grants requests from the faculty and staff of Vestaburg Community Schools. The requests are reviewed and determination of funding is based on:

  • The quality of the grant request
  • The potential benefit to the students
  • The potential benefit to the community

What is the Foundation's Permanent Endowment Fund?

Because we desire to secure funding for educationally sound enrichment opportunities for our children in the future, the Foundation Board has established an endowment fund through the Gratiot Community Foundation. The money deposited in this fund is permanently invested, and the interest earned will be available for funding projects from year to year.
