Parents, we welcome you to come to our parent library located in the Counseling Conference/Play area across from the media center. You will find some highly recommended reading on a variety of topics related to the various stages of parenting children.
We are parenting and teaching in an era where children are saturated with media and videos. It is possible that without some limits being placed on these experiences, we may be witness to a future generation of children who face challenges related to mind overstimulation and inertia.
Children will most usually choose an interactive activity or game with a parent if given the choice between parental play and independent video play. You are encouraged to pencil in some time to spend each day playing with your child. The payoff is incredible!!
