Welcome to Kayla May

Please give a warm welcome to Kayla May, our new preschool lead teacher.

My name is Kayla May. I am a Lead Preschool Teacher at Vestaburg! This is my fourth year as a teacher. When I am not at school, I am spending time with my husband and our newborn daughter. I enjoy spending time with friends and family, going on road trips, and being outdoors. I am so excited for this new journey at Vestaburg!

Thank you Community and School Board!

We would like to say Thank You to the community of Vestaburg and the Vestaburg School Board for the purchase of our new student desks and chairs. The items arrived and were quickly assembled by our maintenance staff just before our Open House. Many parents commented on how sharp the new desks looked. It makes me feel proud knowing that our community is willing to provide such items to help our students grow. The new furniture is greatly appreciated.

Sincerely,

The 5th Grade Team

Welcome Kayt Sponseller - 2nd Grade Teacher

We are pleased to announce the addition of Mrs. Kayt Sponseller to our staff. Mrs. Sponseller will be joining our elementary teaching team, specifically in the Second Grade. We look forward to her contributions to our educational community.
My name is Kayt Sponseller, and I am originally from Beaverton, Michigan. I graduated from Beaverton Jr/Sr High School and then attended Western Michigan University, where I received my Bachelor of Science degree. I previously worked as a paraprofessional for Midland County ESA, where I fell in love with working with children. I have worked various other jobs since then, but always knew I wanted to get back to the school environment, so I went to work on getting my teaching certificate, and I am so excited for my next journey at Vestaburg schools.
In my spare time I love spending time with my family, going on walks, and watching movies!
